There are essentially three different 'types' of mods for Far Cry 3; patch, dll, and compilation. Patch Mods: These are fairly simple and involve basic edits to the patch.dat and patch.fat files located in your folder. These files contain various values in game relating to damage, ammo, health, etc. Trashmen surfin bird mp3 download. If you download this type of mod, it will only come with those two files. DLL Mods: These are more complicated than patch mods. They involve edits to the FC3.dll and FC3_d3d11.dll files located in your folder. ![]() Far Cry 3 mods (Ten mods) Jump to: Select a forum Off-Topic Discussion Introductions & Milestones Sports Forum Media Forum Vehicle Discussion News Forum Gaming Discussion Call of Duty Forum FIFA Forum Grand Theft Auto Forum PlayStation Forum Xbox Forum PC General Forum PC Building Forum PC Gaming Forum PC Support Forum Graphics Forum Mobile. These files are more complex and can be used to edit things like your minimap, enemy spawns, weapon animations, etc. Compilation Mods: These are exactly what they sound like. They are mods that have compiled various types of patch and DLL mods to produce one single mod. Now, what you have to understand is that the file structure behind Far Cry 3 pretty much makes it impossible to just throw mods into the game one by one, because you're dealing directly with the game files. The reason you were able to get Ziggy's Mod AND Immersive Sounds working together is because one is a patch mod and the other is a dll mod. However, I have to point out that by installing Immersive Sounds over the dll files that Ziggy's Mod also used, you effectively erased a couple features from it. I think Ziggy's Mod uses the dll files for object glow and minimap features. So you either haven't noticed, or Immersive Sounds replaced those features with it's own. So to answer your question, you're pretty much already at the limit for mods in the game. Unless you want to unpack the patch files and add in values of your own, you're pretty much maxed out. Now, before you go replacing your mods with new ones, remember that doing so will almost certainly corrupt your saved games, especially if you're messing with the dll files. If you happen to run into the issue where you can no longer access your saves, send me a PM and I will walk you through fixing it.
